As Quality Manager, you provide management guidance associated with implementing technical solutions with manufacturing partners.
What we want to see in you
Key responsibilities
- Technical audit ownership of business relationship with strategic suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Provide management guidance associated with implementing technical solutions with manufacturing partners
- Complete audits and maintain corrective action system associated with strategic suppliers
- Complete statistical sampling audits and root cause failure analysis
- Negotiation skills in defining and managing critical corrective actions / service level agreements
- Undoubting commitment to delivery of defined process improvement plans in support of one or more projects / programs
- Master innovator in finding solutions to unique and obscure disruptions to continuity of supply
Basic qualifications
- College degree in business or technical discipline
- 5+ years experience in quality department, supply chain management, product development, sourcing understanding
- Experience working within Lean Process / Lean Manufacturing environments, especially with regards to contract manufacturing
- Strong negotiation skills and contract management experience, specifically low cost labor geographic regions
- Nimble and sense of self-motivation
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literate (MS Office tools)
- Flexible to travel approximately 50%
Preferred qualifications
- Lean manufacturing experience in both high / low mix models
- Experience in overseas travel and working directly with suppliers
- Exceptionally organizational and customer service skills
