What’s your project manager background?

Most of our project managers have technical background and over 10 years’ of project management experience in US or European companies. They are PMP certified, good communicators, fluent English speakers, and western culture adapters.

What tools do you use for project management?

Microsoft Project is our major project management tool. We also have a project dashboard platform to update the overall project status, risks, action items, etc. on regular basis.

What’s the role of your project manager between my team and the supplier?

Our project manager work as your extended team on the ground. They are responsible for the overall project deliverable management, including supplier delivery, quality, cost, etc. They also anticipate and mitigate risks on the front line.

The team communication matrix defines the team’s (clients, contract manufacturers, materials suppliers, Insight) roles and responsibilities, escalation path, etc., so project stakeholders can understand the scope of work, and who to talk with clearly.
